Prince George couldn't contain his excitement at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, on Easter Sunday. Dressed casually in a blue striped polo and shorts, the little royal looked in awe at a bilby, a rabbit-like creature, as Kate Middleton and Prince William took turns doting on him. Donning a yellow dress, the duchess tried her best to hold George back from the bilby's enclosure while still letting him score a close-up view. Even before their adorable moments, the zoo already held a special meaning for the family: when George was born last July, Australia's government made a donation in his honor to fund the zoo's efforts to preserve and restore wildlife. Nearly nine months later, the bilby enclosure has been named after him!
Earlier in the day, Kate and William went to church, while George was in the care of his nanny. Kate, dressed in a svelte Alexander McQueen coat and Jane Taylor hat, beamed as she walked into St Andrew's Cathedral by William's side. The morning service they attended is one for the history books, as the duke and duchess signed the First Fleet Bible, which was used in the first Christian service held in Australia in 1788. The day before, William and Kate hopped into a fighter plane in Queensland. The duchess donned a floral-print L.K.Bennett dress, the same piece Mindy Kaling coincidentally wore on The Mindy Project in the same week.
We last saw the trio together during their exciting arrival in Sydney on Wednesday. Although George has been out of the spotlight for much of the family's tour, he's already become the king of wiggles! Keep reading to see the latest royal photos, and then catch up on George's most adorable moments.
