The royal tour has just started, and Kate Middleton and Prince William have already had potentially awkward encounters. The royals met a nearly naked man on Monday during a Maori Powhiri ceremonial event at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand. The man wore a three-piece kapa haka costume, a traditional outfit for the indigenous Polynesian people, which doesn't leave much to the imagination in the backside region. Both Kate and William smiled as they spoke with the man, who sported ta mokos, permanent markings similar to tattoos. William appeared to let out a chuckle during the encounter. The event was planned to welcome the royals to New Zealand after their exciting and adorable arrival with Prince George earlier in the day.
