John Joseph Travolta is learnt to be on the edge to fold up a chapter in life of a ‘villain.”
Travolta,an American actor, dancer, and singer.who became an icon in the 1970s, after appearing on the television series Welcome Back, Kotter and starring in the box office successes Saturday Night Fever andGrease, said that “he will continue to do negative roles till he gets to play the villain in a James Bond movie.”
But he also said that he will “close the chapter on playing villains”, reported the Telegraph..
“I would love that. They’re going a different way with their villain in this next film but I’ve spoken to (Bond movie producer) Barbara Broccoli about it and she loves the idea, so that would be great,” said the ‘Saturday Night Fever’ star.
A PTI report from London said:”Travolta will next be seen in the heist movie ‘The Forger’ then as John Gotti Sr in a 2015 biopic about the mobster ‘Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father.’ The actor, who would turn 60 on February 18, does not look forward to it.
“I don’t love the idea of turning 60, so I had hoped to keep it under the radar,” Travolta is quoted having said.
